Caoimhe grew up in the heart of Silicon Valley with California transplant parents (midwest father, immigrant mother) who landed in Menlo Park by way of their own career pursuits. She meandered through schooling with inconsistent excellence — failing Mandarin Chinese and acing social studies. Until, at the University of Notre Dame, she found a home in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics — a discipline that combined her analytical bent with her drive to make sense of systems and scale. Her early career in investment banking at Bank of America and later as a growth investor at Adams Street Partners gave her a front-row seat to how technology can transform industries. But what intrigued her most were the entrepreneurs behind it.
At Reach, Caoimhe is committed to partnering with founders who see health as a human opportunity — one where better outcomes, greater access, and smarter systems can work hand in hand. The future of healthcare will depend not only on breakthrough science, but on builders who understand people, process, and purpose.
The man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can’t are both right.
