As we deepen our investments in health, we’re committed to learning from leaders who have built and scaled solutions at the frontlines of care. That’s why we’re excited to welcome Stuart Parmenter as our newest Healthcare Advisor.
Stuart brings more than two decades of engineering and product leadership experience. Most recently, he was Chief Technology Officer at One Medical, where he led the technology organization through rapid growth, IPO, the acquisition of Iora Health, and integration into Amazon. Before that, he co-founded Rise, a digital health startup offering personalized coaching, which became One Medical’s first acquisition. Earlier in his career, Stuart helped shape the early internet at Mozilla and Netscape.
With deep technical expertise, a track record of building human-centered platforms, and firsthand knowledge of the complexities — and opportunities — in our healthcare system, Stuart pairs pragmatism with vision.
“Working in healthcare means grappling with the realities of human behavior, messy workflows, and high-stakes outcomes. It means designing systems and teams that not only function, but adapt to the real-world complexity of care delivery. I’m excited to bring my experience to help more companies scale their impact and improve lives across the country, and the world. I love what Reach is doing to make that possible.”
At Reach, we believe the next generation of healthcare will be shaped by founders who embrace that complexity and build for it. We’re investing at the cutting edge of care delivery, access, and health tech, and we’re thrilled to have Stuart’s perspective and guidance as we partner with the teams to realize a better, healthier future. He joins Dr. Hannah Galvin, Adina Safer, Julia Bernstein and Rob Purinton in our growing and dynamic healthcare advisory group.
