Rick Majzun

Rick is a three-decade veteran of academic health systems, with deep expertise in pediatric and women’s health operations. As President and COO of Stanford Medicine Children’s Health (Bay Area’s largest health system dedicated to children and expectant mothers) he oversees all hospital and ambulatory operations across 65+ locations. Before Stanford, he served as President and COO of Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, and held VP roles at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He brings a lean management background to complex, high-stakes environments and has advised on strategic planning, hospital performance improvement, and care network expansion throughout his career. Rick is a strong resource for founders working in pediatric health, women’s health, academic medical centers, and hospital systems.
