Jomayra Herrera

Growing up in Orlando, Florida, Jomayra saw firsthand how access — or lack thereof — can shape the opportunities people have in life. That experience sparked a lifelong commitment to expanding opportunity for others.

She began her career at BloomBoard, where she wore many hats across marketing, customer success, and product, helping educators grow through better professional development. Her curiosity about how capital could accelerate impact led her to venture investing — first at Emerson Collective and later at Cowboy Ventures — where she partnered with early-stage founders at companies like Guild, Handshake, and Contra.

At Reach, Jomayra focuses on reimagining the future of healthcare and work, working closely with companies like Stepful, WorkWhile, and Manifold.. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Education from Stanford University.

Outside of work, Jomayra serves on the board of SomosVC, where she’s helping create more pathways for Latino/a investors in venture capital. Jomayra works out of our NY office.
